Kanohi ki te kanohi, face to face Te Aroha was inspired by Boston photographer Pelle Cass, a street photographer who takes thousands of pictures from the same spot, always looking for offbeat things that others don’t notice, then deciding what to keep and what to leave out to create a single time-lapse.
Te Aroha, once a thriving mining and spa town now with a population of 5,000 made up of a diverse range of people who go about their modern-day lives within the backdrop of yesteryear Aotearoa New Zealand.
Keep a look out for the bottle of Lemon & Te Aroha in every image!
