When I don’t have my camera in hand you’ll find me working for our livestock company and running our beef block or in my gym squat, benching and deadlifting.
Riaka is a Te Reo Māori word that means strength and energy.
I love golden hour and big storms, black sand beaches, the sound of cattle eating grass, weight plates clinking in the gym and coffee made with Essenza coffee beans which are roasted in a converted cowshed a few kilometres away.
As a visual storyteller I document life unfolding, capture moments and emotion right down to the intricate details.
Through my lens I seek to reveal the extraordinary in the ordinary.
